Questo sostituisce la galleria dell&#8217;esercito svizzero degli anni \u201880, che rischia di crollare. Ai piedi della Dent Blanche, nel 2016 \u00e8 stato realizzato quindi un nuovo ponte sospeso. Si tratta di una struttura non rinforzata secondo il modello del ponte sospeso tibetano, che si estende per oltre 33 metri. La passerella \u00e8 realizzata in griglie in lamiera profilata di tipo Serrated. Tra le varie griglie in lamiera profilata, la griglia profilata di tipo Serrated offre la massima resistenza allo scivolamento (R 13). Per questo motivo, il ponte garantisce ottima sicurezza antiscivolo anche in condizioni invernali. I fori di questo tipo sono punzonati in fase preliminare e poi smussati. Le punzonature garantiscono un ottimo scolo dell\u2019acqua sia verso il basso che verso l\u2019alto. L\u2019impiego del tipo Serrated \u00e8 particolarmente apprezzato per i ponti in quanto garantisce una buona distribuzione del carico dal centro verso le fasce laterali.
