Il est con\u00e7u pour supporter 1360\u00a0personnes pesant 70\u00a0kg chacune. Cette construction imposante fait partie du chemin panoramique du lac de Thoune. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9e en octobre 2012. Ce chemin comprend sept ponts au total. Pour le pont d\u2019Aeschlen-Sigriswil, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 SPRICH a fourni des caillebotis en t\u00f4le profil\u00e9e. Ils ont l\u2019avantage d\u2019\u00eatre opaques, ce qui r\u00e9duit la sensation de vertige au maximum lors de la travers\u00e9e des gorges. Les caillebotis en t\u00f4le profil\u00e9e sont soud\u00e9s en segments individuels avec un espacement de 5\u00a0&#8211;\u00a06\u00a0mm. Cet \u00e9cart a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9vu en raison de la galvanisation. L\u2019\u00e9paisseur des t\u00f4les est de 2,5\u00a0mm. Comme les caillebotis en t\u00f4le profil\u00e9e sont tr\u00e8s \u00e9troits mais longs (env. 2,5\u00a0&#8211;\u00a03\u00a0m\u00e8tres), il a fallu trouver une solution pour qu\u2019ils ne fl\u00e9chissent pas sous l\u2019effet de la charge. Des poutres sont donc install\u00e9es pour soutenir les caillebotis par le bas. Le mod\u00e8le Offshore est choisi pour les caillebotis en t\u00f4le profil\u00e9e car il offre une bonne protection antid\u00e9rapante gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses perforations. De plus, il permet l\u2019\u00e9vacuation de la pluie et de la neige.
