En collaboration avec l\u2019association \u00abPanoramaweg-Thunersee\u00bb, le financement n\u00e9cessaire de CHF\u00a0250\u00a0000.\u2013 fut rassembl\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s une phase de planification sur plusieurs ann\u00e9es et une phase de montage de quatre mois, le pont a pu \u00eatre men\u00e9 \u00e0 terme en 2017. L\u2019acc\u00e8s pour les randonneurs fut \u00e0 nouveau garanti.<\/p>\n<p>La charge exerc\u00e9e par le pont est r\u00e9partie entre le c\u00e2ble porteur et le tube Torrision. Les caillebotis en t\u00f4le profil\u00e9e de type Serrated furent choisis pour la passerelle de 80\u00a0cm de large. Parmi tous les caillebotis profil\u00e9s, il offre la meilleure fonction antid\u00e9rapante R13 ainsi qu\u2019une bonne r\u00e9partition de la charge depuis le milieu jusqu\u2019aux entretoises lat\u00e9rales. Sur le mod\u00e8le Serrated, les trous sont poin\u00e7onn\u00e9s au pr\u00e9alable, avant le biseautage. Les poin\u00e7onnages vers le haut comme vers le bas garantissent une bonne \u00e9vacuation de l\u2019eau.<\/p>\n<p>La particularit\u00e9 du pont de Sundbach est le passage du pont \u00e0 un escalier, \u00e0 environ la moiti\u00e9 du pont. Les marches sont \u00e9galement en caillebotis profil\u00e9s de type Serrated.
